What can your donation do?

Take Action Today #GivingTuesday

Thanksgiving is just around the corner and so is Giving Tuesday – a global day dedicated to charitable giving. December 3, 2019.

You may have already made your annual appeal gift (if so, we THANK YOU), but here is another opportunity to spread the word about Asante Africa Foundation with your family and friends.

We are asking you to set up a Facebook fundraiser in support of Asante Africa Foundation or encourage your friends and family to take part in Giving Tuesday.

  • Creating a Facebook fundraiser is simple, and it is a great opportunity to connect your family and friends to Asante Africa Foundation and tell them about this organization that you are passionate about.

HOW TO CREATE A FACEBOOK FUNDRAISER

  • Facebook does not charge any fees to nonprofits for these fundraisers so 100% of the funds raised will go straight to Asante Africa Foundation. If you have any questions or need help setting up your Facebook fundraiser, please email: mbagga@asanteafrica.org

WHAT IS #GIVINGTUESDAY?

Since 2012, #GivingTuesday has become a movement that celebrates and supports giving and philanthropy. Whether it’s some of your time, a donation, social media interaction, or a simple act of kindness, your contribution will help with our mission to give children in East Africa the benefit of a great education.

WHERE DOES MY DONATION GO?

Your donation will help support students, teachers, families and communities, across Kenya and Tanzania. Your gift will give children financial support for education, training for teachers, tools for the classroom, hygiene products and health skills, mentorship and business workshops.
