John is the oldest in a family of 4 children. Since his father has drinking problems, his mother is solely responsible for the children. Instead of joining the moran (Maasai warrior training) as his parents wanted, John repeated class 8 and was given a scholarship so he could advance to secondary school.
John loves to play football and read story books. His favorite subject is computer science.
His dream is to become an engineer.
