Asante Africa Honored with 2020 DIAR Award for Gender Equality

March 26, 2021

For three years running, the DIAR Awards in Kenya have recognized and honored organizations as well as individuals for being “champions of diversity and inclusion.” The DIAR Awards are sponsored by partner corporations and nominees are judged by accomplished and socially active community members. Award winners are advancing Kenya by helping socially disadvantaged Kenyans including women, rural indiginous communities, diabled and elderly individuals, people living in poverty, and groups facing religious discrimination.

Asante Africa is proud to have received the 2020 DIAR Award for the category of “Best NGO on Gender Equality,” alongside six other award recipients. In total, 165 DIAR Awards honored organizations and individuals for their work “advancing diversity and promoting inclusion.” Asante Africa extends its congratulations to the other 2020 DIAR Award winners and thanks them for their efforts in promoting equality in Kenya.
