Natukunda is a senior one student at Bukuya Secondary School who has been empowered by Asante Africa Foundation to start her own business selling handmade decorative flowers out of paper materials.

She began by saving up the lunch money her parents gave her and when she saved 20,000 Ugandan shillings(UGX), she requested a loan to reach her initial capital of 30,000 UGX. With her savings, she bought a ream of paper, thread, and needles which she used to make 48 5-piece flowers. After selling them to nearby hotels, birthday parties, and small functions, she earned 144,000 UGX. Her business has now expanded to make four different types of flowers as she continues to make huge profits.
