Animal Husbandry in Uganda

Kyokunzire Daphine, a student and member of Asante Africa in rural Uganda, is raising goats as her vocational training project. This project helps to sustain not only her family but also some of the other villagers, because Daphine sells milk and meat from her growing herd to the local villagers. With her project she hopes to make enough income and eventually buy a dairy cow that will provide enough milk to sustain her family.
