Annet, a 17 year old student in Secondary School, conceived during her extended time at home. As a high performing student at school and in Asante Africa Foundation activities, Annet’s family was very disappointed with her pregnancy. However, with counseling from her school matron and GAP coordinator, Annet has been able to accept her pregnancy and is able to deal with the stigma of teenage pregnancy.

Annet hopes to go back to school after giving birth and is working on her revision materials. She also hopes to gain skills from her training to start her own income generating project to support herself and her baby.
