Experiencing Digital Learning for the First Time, Uganda
Embracing the Digital era as an organization staff in Uganda administered pre-implementation surveys for over 90% of the Wezesha and 90% of the LEI program club members this summer (2021). It’s important to administer these surveys to assess student knowledge and expectations of the program before commencement of the school based activities.
Peer educators who attended the training of trainers on both programs were of great support to their peers teaching them some basics on how to use the tablets while filling in the surveys. It was such a great experience to the learners being able to learn some digital skills as for some it was their first time to touch a tablet and also to use them.
They are looking forward to being empowered more with the digital skills during their club sessions at school.
