Iraalya Bakamya attained a Bachelor of Science with Education Degree from Makerere University Kampala and then joined Kings College, University of London and attained a Diploma in Science Education in 1991 and a Master of Arts in Science Education Degree in 1993.
He has years of experience in as an educator, specializing in Science, Physics, and Mathematics. He has served as a secondary school classroom teacher and as a teachers’ college lecturer, Science Department Head, Director, and Principle.
He has now retired from education and practices mixed farming.
