Take Jeniffer in Kenya: once a sporadic school-attendee, she joined Asante Africa’s “Wezesha Vijana” girls’ programme, gained confidence, was elected club chairperson, attended trainings, and now attends school regularly. Her transformation came because someone believed she could. 

Or Rodgers in Uganda: forced to drop out during the pandemic, he turned to farming, then to retail business. With training in business skills through Asante’s Youth Livelihood programme, he upgraded from a bicycle to a motorcycle, plans a shop, and is stepping into leadership for his community.
