Cesilia is Making her Success in Agriculture and Education

Prior to Cesilia being a university student, she joined Asante Africa Foundation’s, Youth Livelihood Program while she was attending secondary school. Cesilia says that Asante Africa Foundation has transformed her life by nurturing and developing not only her interpersonal skills, but her academic success. These achievements allow Cesilia to use these gained tools in her day to day life to strive for a better future.

With the development from Asante Africa, Cesilia is ecstatic to be a great entrepreneur in the future! As she currently pursues her university studies, Cesilia continues to generate an income through agricultural cultivation and animal breeding. While the dual activities can be exhausting with great resilience and perseverance they double as motivation for Cesilia to continue her path of personal development.

As an astounding role model in her community, Cesilia pays it forward by teaching those as she was taught before. Working in fields, teaching the community how to grow their own crops, Cesilia is a firm believer that people need others who would believe in them in order to succeed— just as Asante Africa did for her. 

As a working woman and a university student, Cesilia says the financial literacy taught by Asante Africa Foundation’s curriculum has made an immense impact on her life and she could not be more grateful to have had resources to learn it. Skills like budgeting and saving money has allowed her to manage her life and plan accordingly for not only her future but for the success of those in her community. 

Cesilia deeply believes in transforming the resources that she has acquired from Asante Africa into a lasting, invaluable resource for her entire community. Her commitment extends to continuing efforts in raising awareness about the potential of female youth, entrepreneurship, and education for all.
