Cultivating life skills leads Athumani to cultivating businesses

Jan 31, 2023

Eighteen year-old Athumani joined Asante Africa Foundation in 2018 where he learned finance and finance and budgeting, personal development, personal value, dream mapping, and entrepreneurship.

“With the knowledge I gained, I was able to start saving money and start 2 income generating projects. In January 2022, I decided to start a small business cultivating crops like potatoes and carrots. In February 2022, I opened my second business, a money network agency near my home.

I feel very proud that I have my own business now. Next, I am hoping to go to college so that I can study finance administration, which will help grow my two projects. However, I need to focus on my businesses which will help me to have enough money to pay for school fees.

I want to say thank you to Asante Africa Foundation for giving me the knowledge and skills that helped me build up my businesses and chase my dreams.”
